Video Games For Fun & Enlightenment

I remembered that we once had a thread on Papers, Please and while only a few people gave overall impressions on the game, it didn’t seem unusual for people to enjoy themselves while playing it.

It’s really a very simple game, but there’s quite a bit of storytelling in it, and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it and wanted to throw out a recommendation.

But I picked it up during the sale and while it is challenging, I found it to be quite fun, after figuring out what I was supposed to do

I picked this up earlier this week and have been…engaged. I don’t enjoy it, per se, but it is engaging.

I rather liked the game but spoiled it for myself by getting perfectionist and restarting days too often.

I liked it a lot. It’s like going to a stressful, monotonous job but there are a lot of ethical questions that come up. Because of the changing document requirements and the stakes of providing for your family, it’s tense and even kind of exciting.

That’s not a solid 100% in the “fun” column but having fun while playing the game seems reasonable enough.
