Came across this on youtube… totally terrifying, and the power of the tornado is unreal. At 1:09 it flips the freight train like a toy.
That is wild stuff! I guess it was an automatic train, not manned, so at least nobody was killed. The sparks were scary, and then to see the tanker car coming at you!
Automated? I don’t think we are at that point yet. I’m sure that was manned. :eek:
AFAIK, the only “automated” units are remote control switchers working in yards.
Wow! That’s a wild video! They must not get any weather updates while
in transit. I would have stopped before reaching the storm. (if I knew it was there)

I have watched that a couple times before. It’s impressive to behold something so powerful that it can do that to something that weighs so much.
