Dude, you look even dumber now that you did after your first post. Srsly.
What’s not clear in the article was whether or not it was a no-knock warrant. I’m finding the use of no-knock warrants is becoming more an more risky from the perspective of putting innocent people at risk. For example the granny that got blown away and the ensuing cover-up, and the innocent mayor and his family whose two dogs were killed. Something about the no-knock system is not working out when it comes to public safety.
I have not looked at the video, so perhaps my question re: no-knock this time is answered therein.
Edit: Also, on first parse, I thought the “MJ” in the thread title referred to Michael Jackson. :smack:
Yeah, I am looking to score a half ounce of either Thriller or Off the Wall.
The article indicates that both dogs were shot some time after they entered the home. They reported that the pit was acting in an “uncontrollably aggressive manner”; no reason is given for shooting the corgi in the leg. That probably means that the pit was barking and growling at the strange, yelling, aggressive men who just kicked in the door and were attacking his home and pack members. If he was attacking he would have flown out the door and been shot immediately. I can see no reason at all from the article for shooting the corgi. They could have used less than lethal force on the dog and suspect if necessary, but they decided to use live rounds instead. That smacks of bullshit in my opinion. Especially on a MJ bust.
Omigod! ::Wrings hands:: Some anonymous asshole on a message board thinks I look dumb!
Several, actually.
Oh, stop, or I’m liable to bust out crying.
Now go back to diddling yourself. Or, you know, whatever it is you mods do to make yourselves feel important. But wash your fucking hands first, eh?
Oh, are we doing a roll call? I’m in. MTCicero looks dumb.
And you’re a goddamn bitch.
Which is worse?
I was on your side until that!
The sounds that pit bull made when it was shot damn near broke my heart.
Moral of story: don’t do weed or the government will shoot your dogs, because it’s all the dogs’ fault.
I was kind of expecting that link to a different article to be just a teeny tiny bit supportive of the cops’ side, given all of MT’s posts… not only was it not at all supportive of them, it had a link to vote in a poll on whether you think the cops’ actions were justitifed, and 92% of people have voted “no”. So yeah, an article that leads to a 7% approval rating, that really is a brand new meaning of “support your local sherriff”. I think I’ll go support my local bookstore by shopping at Amazon.
True. I’m be more worried about getting shot myself, or going to prison and losing my job.
Funny thing is, most people wouldn’t care if this was coke or something instead of mj.
It was a rhetorical question. Of course pepper spray works on dogs.
Still having trouble with your meds or are you just the latest troll?
I don’t have a dog(sorry about the pun) in this fight, but given the history of the suspect
. the police might have had a bit of justification for this. http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/2010/may/06/chief-details-swat-incident/
Again, not trying to do anything here other than add some information.
Yah well, pot is illegal…
Same goes for immigration law. Arizona is stupid. They oughta do a database census: all those cameras on every streetcorner? Download the data of every person you can find into face recognition software, and just require everyone to present their ID to some official within a certain time period. If it is a photo ID, these people can be crossed off the database census list. At the end of the period, everybody left on the list is under reasonable suspicion of not being in the country legally, not having voluntarily presented ID. Therefore, they all need to be hunted down like the dogs they are and forced to present ID.
It’ll require a deportation panel, I know.
New guy jumping up and down shouting, “Look what I can do!”
Yup, we got something for that.
/ignore.
Dude, you’re lost. The mexican bashing thread is this way.
