Men who had overt signs of PTSD were given dishonorable discharges rather than medical.

The article says it was before PTSD had a name, but PTSD is just the current name for the disorder that people who have gone to war suffer.

Even though the VA and the military now recognize it as a valid illness, they have consistantly refused to look at the records of, possibly, tens of thousands of military who were given dishonorable or undesirable discharges because they acted out or were fearful.

This is a class action suit, so if you know someone with this problem, you might want to let them know.
