Vietnamese Rock or Alternative Music

Can anyone recommend some rock or alternative music in Vietnamese, from Vietnamese or expatriate Vietnamese bands? I’m having trouble finding anything but traditional music and a few jazz albums. While I was in Vietnam I heard nothing but Muzak of 70’s US soft rock being played.

Original contemporary songs, Vietnamese covers of US/UK classic rock, or similar woulde be great. Thanks.

FWIW, saw a Vietnamese hard rock band on tour back in SE Asia circa '75, can’t remember its name because it was eleventy billion years ago but it was pretty good, Hendrixy even, so at least one exists/existed.

We have a huge Vietnamese population in Orlando, with a neighborhood full of restaurants, markets, and shops. Many of them sell CDs and DVDs from Vietnam and elsewhere in Southeast Asia, but I couldn’t begin to name specific artists for you. I’ll try to provide the contact information for some of the stores, if I can, if you think you’d possibly get in touch with any of them.

Trinh Cong Son (aka the Vietnamese Bob Dylan) was pretty popular in his day

And there’s the more contemporary Hong Nhung. Her site has a small selection of songs and videos.
Also, a few random You Tube clips.

Thanks for the ideas thus far. It’s interesting to me that I can find Thai and Cambodian rock (at least, covers/tunes of US/UK rock) but not Vietnamese.
