Ethanol perhaps be a more environmental friendly source of combustion and would have a very spooky flame that can be invisible. Denatured alcohol a cheaper alternative but that would contain some bad stuff. E-85 I think would be better then a 100% petroleum product but still have 15% gasoline, and gasoline (or e-85) is far more dangerous then Kerosene.
