NBC Sunday evening news just ran a piece on Eric Whitacre’s Virtual Choir.

Great idea. People all over the world submit clips of themselves singing various parts. Eric received 3746 video submissions from 73 countries for Water Night.

My cousin sang in her college choir and is classically trained. She still sings at her church. I emailed her these links and she’s going to check into it.

I can see this project growing in size year by year. I’m intrigued that such a diverse group across the world can create such beautiful music without ever meeting.
