Visibility of skin reactions in different races.

I’m white. Very very white. And I blush easily. If I have a few beers my cheeks and ears turn bright red.

Perhaps I’ve never paid close enough attention, but I’ve never noticed a hispanic person blush. Certainly not a black person. Are there similar indicators of nervousness / intoxication / whatever that people of those races (or those that interact with them frequently) pick up on? If I get extraordinarily tan, will the redness of my face and ears become less pronounced?

Sorry if there are multiple questions here… I just started thinking about this, and wanted to toss it out there.

In my (admittedly limited) experience, you have to be familiar with what they look like *before *they blush in order to pick up on it among blacks. I can proudly say that I have made my wife (medium-dark-ish, I guess) and several of her friends (some quite dark) noticeably blush during laughter. What can I say, I’m a funny guy…
