There’s Klavon’s Ice Cream in the Strip. You definitely want to check that place out – it’s this little old-fashioned ice cream palour. Just the atmosphere is worth it.
And of course, I would also reccomend St Nicholas Croation Church in Millvale, which is famous for the murals of Croation artist Maxo Vanka. Trust me, you don’t have to be the slightest bit religious, just a fan of good art. (I was lucky because back when I was in college, and doing an internship at the Heinz Museum, they were having an exhibit on Vanka.)
