If memory serves, she had a connection to the Louisville, KY area, which is also my neck of the woods. She may not have lived here for many years, however.

Yeah, I inferred from some posts this was the cause.
You know, watching a video of an autopsy reminded me of the invisible damage we can do to our bodies. We can’t just look at our organs and see how devastated they are becoming. Sure there are symptoms but they tend to be vague and easy to deny. But seeing the state of a person’s kidneys/liver after they have passed away really brings to light just how awful things like alcohol abuse can be to some people.
It is really tragic that too often we find out too late what happened. I only wished voguevixen could have gotten more help and support to prevent such a tragedy

While I never knew her personally, my impression of voguevixen from her online writings is that she was NOT easily offended and would try to make light of almost any situation, so I think in her honor we should try not to take anything in this thread about her too seriously either.
I can remember occasions when the woman herself made jokes about her heavy drinking even at the same time that she seemed to be well aware that it was harming her. I would not put it past her at all to make jokes about her own death if she could have.
Wow, 43? I remember her first for having a crush on one of the San Francisco Giants. It’s hard to imagine she was only 27 then, or that she’s gone already. Hope you get to listen to some Bieber in heaven, VV! (Maybe St. Pete can borrow some from the other place, where it’s on heavy rotation.)
