And now, we are trying Dragon dictation speaking in a heavy Maine Yankee accent you can get that out from here, let’s see if they can make sense of my heavy may accept it looks like I am somewhat fooling it.
No call you in Dragon dictation in my bad British accent I didn’t know if this will actually translate well but who knows, and now for something completely different a voice recognition software that gets confused by accents.
Noticeably the third one this time, I am speaking with a deep southern accent no no no idea if this is going to be translated properly if the new baby t get my shotgun alright let’s see if this thing can get her done
It looks like Dragon dictation can be easily confused by speaking heavy accents, it’s rather fun to try to throw it off track, if I’m right now. I’m speaking have a Yankee accent and I don’t know if it’s going at best, now I’m speaking for checks and let’s see if this can possibly get the action corrupt, now I’m speaking to sell the vaccine again and see if this little magic box here configure figure out what I say it alright we done now
As you can see from the above text if I speak with a heavy deep accent no matter what it is Dragon has a very difficult time figuring out what I’m saying if I speak with my plain boring. I’m accepted voice. It tends to get everything that I say. Almost
My SIL is a quadrapalegic and uses Dragon v.r. softwhere to write articles and email her friends and family. She’s had it for a long time (seven years or more) and each version keeps getting better. It’s really been a lifeline for her.
Has anyone used it to help take meeting minutes? With what degree of success?
Dragon doesn’t do so well if you sing in it, though.
