The timing belt broke on my 1995 golf. It is rusting away, and I am trying to figure out if it an interference or non-interference engine to try to evaluate whether it is worthwhile to have it towed and fixed.
According to this, the 1993-2000 Golf has an interference engine. That is, of course, if I’m reading this correctly. You probably want to look for yourself.
