Vote Early, Vote Often

Is California the only state that seems to encourage voter fraud?

Actually, I don’t know that it is California as a whole, it could just be my precinct for all I know.

This is how it went:

I walked over to my polling site and they had a list posted outside the door listing everybody registered to vote at that location, address and name are given. Those who have already voted are crossed off the list.

Go inside and they ask for my name. I tell them, to confirm who I am they then ask for my address. I tell them. They give me a ballot.

I could have just read this off the list outside and told them. They did not ask for ID. In Washington and Hawaii I had to show a drivers license or voter card to vote.

Why doesn’t the Secretary of State just publish a brochure on how to vote more than once?

At least this time they weren’t using pencils for the signature.

no, california is not alone in voter fraud. it is an american tradition. here in philly the joke is that the dead rise up and vote.

I live in Washington, and they’ve never asked for ID. However, the list of voters is maintained by the election worker that hands out the ballots. It isn’t posted anywhere else, that I’ve seen.

It might be worthwhile for you to e-mail your Secretary of State with this info. It may be that your precinct is doing things in a way the state wouldn’t approve of.
