VOTE OBAMA-your reply is your vote

I’m taking a vacation day to vote for Obama!

Whats going on?

Already voted for him.

Done and done.

…and now I’m off to make it official!

mailed my ballot today.

I voted a couple weeks ago.

I am also voting for the terror-coddling socialist secret muslim.

I got to the early voting site at noon today and there were 62 people in line in front of me. Saw one person in line that I knew, a coworker.

A half hour later, my car tag got paged and I went to the parking lot where a girl’s car’s rear “bumper” was against my front “bumper” along the driveway curb. and she asked me to back my car up, which I did, and she inspected her bumper and got on her cell phone and started explaining the invisible nick on her bumper where “the screw on my front tag” was in contact with her bumper, all the while implying that I had parked my car against hers, which I had not. Truth be told, she backed into mine, although I chose not to discuss this. She said it was ok and I went back to my place in line. The folks in front and in back of my space said (jokingly) that I could not cut into the line. I stated that I just had to get this flu shot. They let me in anyway.

One hour after arriving I reached the check-in desk and i.d.ed myself and stood in the next line of 12 waiting for one of the 8 touchscreen machines (my first experience with this type). Scuttlebutt disclosed that there had been 26,000 early votes cast already in the county of about 200,000 pop.

Got to a machine 5 minutes later and listened to and read the instructions about having to vote first for the prez and then to vote either individually for candidates for other statewide and local offices and a community college bond issue, or a straight ticket plus the bond issue. They cautioned that a vote for the straight ticket would NOT include the prez vote and that that prez vote had to be cast first, separately. BEWARE. Four years ago hundreds of ballots did not register prez votes because of this feature.

I touched Obama/Biden and my vote got printed onto an adding machine paper trail tape in the lower left corner of the screen. I then went to the next of 5 e-pages and voted for statewide and local officers and the $126 million bond issue. Each vote got printed onto the paper trail tape. I voted for only one of the dozen or more statewide judges, as I knew him. Then I hit the REVIEW button and looked over the votes, then hit VOTE, then CONFIRM.

Then I got an “I voted today” sticker on my forehead, er, shirt, and left, about 75 minutes after I arrived. I’m glad that’s over! Vote early and vote often!

I want to vote early, but I also want to see what Nov. 4th will be like - the official day!

I did today. The wait was only 3 hours

I went to vote early today, but the line was too long. I’m voting Monday.

I shall cast my vote for Obama. And for the first time in my entire life I will be smiling when I enter the stall. thank you Mr. Obama. You’ve got a tall order, but me and some friends I know think you can do it. Rock on, can’t wait to see your kids playing in the oval office.

One more!

My vote.

And how!

Okay!

No on 8, too!

Joe

Obama.

Vote, but in all fairness, shouldn’t the OP have created an “Others” thread in addition to Obama and McCain?
