…some time ago i stumbled upon a website which somehow accessed all the search keywords people were typing into the search engines. It was called ‘Voyeurs of the Search Engines’ or something and the lists refreshed every 10 seconds or so. So at any time you’d see about 10 keywords people had typed into the search engines… like
1 cyndi lauper
2 naked asian babies
3 brittney spears
4 lawn care
5 clear plating
6 martha stewart
7 homemade applesauce
8 anorexia
9 sexual harassment
10 jesse james
So… does anyone know what i’m talking about, and if so do you know the URL? I’ve tried searching for it, and somewhere someone is watching me search for it… and laughing…
I must admit, I am mesmerized by that voyeur marquee at Excite (yeah, I know, get a life). However, I thought the level of porn inquiries would be higher. Is it possible it is censored for X-rated material?

You’ll notice the queries in the “what people are asking Jeeves right now” box are cycling. I presume they do this to keep visitors from seeing the more likely “wAr3 r da porn pix?” type questions.
That Excite marquee is mesmerizing. I probably spent 10 minutes staring at it and LMAO; now there’s either something wrong with my monitor or my eyes because, as I type this, the letters appear to be sliding across the screen…
Hoo, anyway, it’s quite fascinating, and quite horrifying now that I realize every dumb thing I’ve looked for has been stared at by someone and probably laughed at, too…
What makes me really sad is that I could have answered some of these questions myself, but there’s no way to. And it makes me sadder still that the person looking for “Egyption Heilogliphs” isn’t going to come up with anything

Opal, loved your comments on each query, hilarious stuff.
I am now hooked on the Excite ticker. If I see any really freaky ones, I will be back to share em
