I got my first naneinf today - I can check that final box off my list. It was a Plasma/Perkeo build, so once I had an economy built, it was pretty straight forward.
I had an early Seance, which I grinded for red seals. I got Perkeo around Ante 6, which really isn’t a big gift - it takes up a useful slot. Luckily, I already had Blueprint/Brainstorm, and had Gift Carded my jokers to $50. I found a Temperance, got a bunch of copies, found a Bull, and cashed out. Plasma deck isn’t too hard with +2000 chips to start out. Seance was much better than Sixth Sense, because it will retrigger.
I went full overkill, because all the guides assume you’ve Ectoplasmed and Blank vouchers your way to a 7 joker hand. I just had 5. I wasted time with a DNA, thinking I’d go the Serpent route (man, this post is gibberish if you don’t know the game!), and then I got a Cryptid spectral, and I was off to the races.
You need 55 red seal steel kings if all you have is Baron, Mime and 3 retrigger cards. That’s 25 cryptids with a 7 card hand.
If I try again, I want to do the Burglar/Serpent route. That seems like more skill than lucking into a Perkeo and not have it kill you.
