I watched about 10 minutes of it. Tell me: is the rest of it as big a turd as I think it is?
I can’t make myself watch it unless somebody tells me it gets better. a whole lot better.
Thanks,
hh

Let me ask you something, do you think Shai Lebeouf dies 11 minutes in?
You need say no more!
Thanks,

I enjoyed it ok but if you hated the beginning, it doesn’t get any better.
It’s crap –save for one 30 second scene.
I won’t bother with a full review which you can easily find elsewhere.
There are three story lines going on: Shia Laboeuf trying to make it –at work, with his new girl friend and with Gekko, you have Gekko’s attempts at restarting and resurrecting his career and you have the commentary at what went on on Wall Street that drove the economy into ground.
The problem is that not one of these story lines is told well and Stone made an incomprehensible, uninteresting mess of things as he tried to meld them together.
A hearty thumbs down for this one except for:
Budd Fox does indeed make a guest appearance. He runs into Gekko at some gala function and the two chat amicably for about a minute. Fox appears to be somewhat of a success and Gordon doesn’t appear to harbor any ill will.
This cameo is the only worthwhile tidbit in a sea of crud.
Win, because it points out the major problem with all of Shai LeBeouf movies. Shai LeBeouf
