Walmart - China

What percent of products that Walmart carries/sells are from China?

That’s tough to say, because generally suppliers have a number of factories they use (or own, in some situations). Some of these may be in China, some in South/Central America, some in Africa. For, say, a shirt that’s produced using machinery that’s not high tech or highly expensive, the production location may vary from season to season. For items like electronics that take more complicated equipment, there may be a set figure.

I doubt that these figures are readily available from WalMart, though if you could identify all the suppliers of all the goods WalMart carries, you might be able to identify a general percentage that comes from China, based on where those supplier companies purchase goods from or where they maintain manufacturing locations.

you also need to define what you mean by percentage: volume, sales revenue, number of products, profit, etc.

That said, Wal-Mart China is one of my clients. They have about 20 stores in China and also source an awful lot of product for the US.

Just a WAG, but Wal-Mart in the US has to source a minimum of 10% of volume of their products from the PRC. I suspect the actual number is more like 20-30% but this is just a WAG.
