Wanna start a coupon train?

Hey, this sounds cool and I want in! Who do I send my address too?

Just a little confusion on my part…

Should I send my coupons NOW, or should I wait until I recieve coupons from the person above me. I can see how it’d be cool if we all start at the same time–less wait for everyone–and (hopefully) a continuous circle, we can add new members at anytime. LMK. And thanks to all, in advance.

Cinnimon Girl, my addy is on the way. Bodypoet, I still need yours.

I sent out the envelope on…Tuesday or Wednesday, I think it was. So Marconi&Schmeese should have it, or get it, soon. Then she’ll send it on…let us know, if you can, when you receive/send the batch, that way we can keep track a little better.

Dreamer, I’ll send it to you after I get it from Sami. Sami, hon, you just sit tight. Then you can add your coupons after you’ve been through the ones you receive, 'kay?

(I’m just hoping I don’t get all confusedelled and bepuzzled and stuff. Heh. That would be so unlike me.)

I’ll play too

I’ve never actually come across coupons here (Australia). I’m such a bargain freak, too. :frowning:

I have been watching this thread and would join except I don’t get the newspaper and my coupon stash is suspiciously missing.
But, I found an article in Family Circle with sites to various coupons :

Valupage type in your zip code and it will tell you what stores in your area they work with for coupons.

Gerber you can sign up for coupons and emails.

Refundle Bundle link to website for a subscription to a newsletter of how to rebate, insider tricks. Those who sign up get $300. coupon book. (Saw this in Family Circle magazine. Looks interesting.)

Other areas to find coupons at: (That I haven’t checked out yet. But are for online deals/coupons.)

Shirley, I don’t know about the others who have joined this thread, but for myself, my grocery store will not accept coupons printed from your computer. I’m not sure why, but a WAG would be that it would be too easy to counterfiet them. As for refunds, others in this thread might get some use from the sites, but I myself am not good at collecting what I need to collect, filling out the requisite forms, circling the right stuff on the receipts, etc. etc. And then, the few times I’ve done it, I’ve sometimes lost the checks with the refunds, because a check for $1.75 hardly seems worth keeping track of! I have, however, found it easier to do my supermarkets rebate programs, since you can sign up online, my purchases are tracked electronically (using my Bonus Card), and the check is mailed automatically (and all rebate offers are on one check, so the check will be for, like, $15.00 or something substantial enough for me to keep track of it til I can get it to the bank).

As for not getting a newspaper, I don’t get a daily one, but I buy the Sunday one, mainly for the coupons. Also, if you check, your local library might have a coupon bin. Mine does, and I’ve encountered others that do, too.

Anyway, thanks for all the links.

My grocery stores won’t accept computer-generated coupons anymore either. Da bums!

But I do know several people who use the valupage thingy and seem to like it. I haven’t tried it, but basically I think it gives you a list of items that, if you buy them, you get value bucks or something, and eventually you can use those as money off your total. Heh. That’s clear as mud, eh?

Shirley, someone is obviously working with the Dark Side in stealing your coupon stash. Want me to send you a stack to get you started again? I have a bunch.

bodypoet, you pretty much nailed the ValuPage thing. I used to use it all the time, but the offers got less and less valuable, until I’m almost always better off buying a coupon item or generic item. However, some people won’t use generic items, so these deals might work out better for them.

Angelicate , I am supposed to send you my address, but am unable to through your profile. If you can email me (in my profile) so I can get you my addy that would be great. Thanks.

I don’t use coupons, but I have a couple of $10.00 off of a purchase at ebags or sunglasses hut websites that I can give the codes for if anyone wants them.

Not exactly the same as the train, but I figure someone in this thread might be interested.

Hi everyone! Got bodypoet’s coupons and have added TWO WEEKS worth of mine and will be mailing them to Norinew tomorrow.

I didn’t realize that my email address wasn’t in my profile and haven’t been checking this thread. Sorry about that!

Has this been mailed to Norinew yet?

They were mailed! I emailed norinew earlier this week.

Marconi&Schmeese, when you sent me that email last week, I was in the hospital. All I knew (from asking my family) was that the coupons hadn’t arrived. So I asked our babysitter to email angelicate and ask her to post an enquiry to this thread. Well, when I got home from the hospital on Friday, and started weeding through my email inbox (it took me through Saturday to get it all!), I found your email. I got the envelope today, and have pulled the coupons I want and added my own. They should be moving on to angelicate in the next day or two.

Now that I am using diaper coupons and such, I have more than enough of the other ones to share. Can I be added to the list?

I haven’t read this in awhile, but I recently got a gob of coupons for my mom and I cut out all the diaper and baby food ones.

Add my name to the list and I 'll send things along.

Just wondering about the current status of the coupon train…

I’ve got a huge pile of coupons here!
