No.
Of course a mod would say that
Can someone post a link to the offending thread?
Same here (I have them turned off anyway), but the email address is also one I never check as well (I barely bother to check my “real” address as well).
Huh – I didn’t even see a single post by etv78 there.
I think etv78 was “offended in principle” or something like that. He was forced, forced mind you, to read something he disagreed with! Why, he might have actually learned something, and we can’t have that. He must remain in a blissful state.
Marley has always been a favorite of mine. But then again I like Czarcasm too, so what the hell do I know.
Now I need to shower! What with all of silenus’ sarcasm all over me!
I live to serve.
It’s that Darth Miller thing.
You can always hope he eventually steps down. Ex-mods can be Ignored, as I recently learned to my satisfaction.
Buck up, laddie.
Who said that?
Now this is what I signed up for. Good thread guys.
What? I didn’t see what you wrote.
[sub]Figured I’d start early. When are you going to become an ex-mod?[/sub]
And if he’s an ex-mod, will he be pining for the boards?
I’m so sorry
YOU NAILED HIS FEET!
[sub]not sorry[/sub]
Not that I have the urge to ignore any moderators, but:
I liked at another forum I went to, they had a custom VB tag called [noparse][modnote][/modnote][/noparse], which was really just a shorthand for:
[noparse]**MOD NOTE:
<Text>**[/noparse]
So, when applied:
**MOD NOTE:
<Text>**
(Of course, this board was white on black, so the red looked better, substitute your own eye popping, but non straining color).
For one, it made it very easy to see where a mod note was, so if you were skimming a long thread you had less of an excuse to miss moderator “cease and desist” warnings peppered throughout, and if you wanted to outright ignore a moderator, you could easily see when he/she was speaking as a mod, and not as an ignorable poster.
