With real estate prices falling and semi-retirement only about 4-5 years away, I’m thinking it might be a good time to explore a winter home.
Something east of the Mississippi would probably work best. Are there any areas that are particularly good bargains now?
Detroit is east of the Mississippi and it will be 50 here today! 
With prices falling, why would you buy now? When prices are done falling, THEN buy.
Some people are speculating that we’ve hit bottom and are on the way up in Atlanta, but I’m not sure if that’s true. Regardless, it’s a great time to be buying a house in the Southeast right now. Not a great time to sell, but a great time to build and/or buy.
Naaah, wait for another 20-30% drop. Really. 50% in LA, SF, & NY.
Yea…and when you invest in stocks my advice is to buy low and sell high. Easy. Now get rich.
