Warning: Morbid question about death and pets

Seems only fair to me. I imagine that I have eaten thousands of chickens and fish over the years. And enough bits of cows, sheep and pigs to have eaten quite a few whole ones. Mind you, none of them were pets or, to the best of my knowledge, died in an earthquake.

One of my cats straight up doesn’t want anything but cat food. I’m not sure how she determines what’s “cat food” but she’ll eat different brands of dry kibble from her bowl but ignore bits of raw or cooked meat from various mammals, birds and fish. I have a hard time imagining her actually chewing on a body unless severely desperate.

Anyway, they can chew on me when I’m dead if they’d like and I suppose it wouldn’t be a barrier to adoption. Probably would be for my wife though so, sorry dog/cat.

Since I’m not a vegetarian, I also “feast on dead flesh” with regularity, so I would feel guilty passing judgment. Granted, none of the creatures involved were friends of mine.

I doubt anyone here would’ve wanted to adopt Ronald Huff’s lizards.

Google that at your own risk.
