warrant issued

I just found out I had a warrant issued for my arrest in August of 2004. It was for minor consumption. I was 17 when it happened. I was issued a fine and it never got paid. From what i remember it was for around $100. :smack:

I plan on calling the city to clear everything up. What type of penalties should I expect to get this taken care of? Thanks in advance!

Expect whatever’s defined in the local statutes.

Beyond that, we really can’t offer much help as we don’t even know what country you’re in, much less what city, county or state.

I live in Glendale, Arizona. It’s located in Maricopa County.

Obviously you’ll have to take whatever’s coming but can you have a friend call the local PD and ask what is to be expected?

:dubious: You consumed a minor?

I am ashamed to say it took me a while to comprehend what “minor consumption” meant. I was wondering how on earth you could have been fined for having a mild case of tuberculosis. But the light has dawned, and I see once more.

I once lived in Maricopa County, it’s well known for having a very conservative gov’t. w/ such people as Sheriff Joe Arpaio. I think, if it were me, I’d consider spending the money to hire a lawyer. Probably not necessary, but you never know.
