Was anyone here in Jonesborough for the Storytelling Festival?

For those of you who don’t know about it…each first weekend of October for the past 31 years, there has been a storytelling festival in this small, historic Tennessee town. They set up circus-type tents in various places around town, and you can go from tent to tent throughout the day listening to the most wonderful storytellers imaginable.

For anyone who was there…what was your festival highlight? Mine was Saturday–from Judith Black doing her piece on Lucy Stone, then to Carol Birch doing her Lou Gehrig story, then staying at the Railroad tent (along with what seemed like half the festival goers!) for John McCutcheon’s set, and then Bil Lepp’s set that had me laughing so hard I could barely catch my breath!
