I suppose to answer the question as to who has more say in dealing with the 369th -Pershing or Gouraud, one would have to perhaps know the conditions that were agreed upon before they were integrated into the the French 161st Division. I’m not sure if I’m overthinking this. I haven’t been able to find any commentary as yet on the matter.
