… when I joined up here and asked who could come up with the three words in our language which end in “gry”, and suffered so much abuse???
Best decision I ever made. Thousands of international friends with whom I can “chat” anytime of the day or night.
Thanks for hanging in there with me, even though somewhere along the line I went batshit on y’all!

So…did you get the three words?
Ah, hell, you haven’t been here that long.

Old fart.

There are only 2: angry and hungry.
And I think we’d better let it go at that, dodn’t y’all?
Thanks

Yeah, it’s kinda like wandering into that strange Three Stooges scene, and mentioning Niagara Falls. All hell breaks loose, and you don’t know why.
“Slowly I turn…”
Sorry, missed that last one!
Thanks
Q
Actually, there is a common third word with gry at the end. It is of course, gryphon . The trick is that **gry **is on the front end instead of the back end.

Yup, Zebra . That was my introduction into the wonderful Dope, and I’ve been “atoning” for that mistake ever since!
NOW it can be told! :):)
Thanks for the laff!

By the way, I’ve been looking through your early posting history, and I can’t find any such thread.
This is the earliest thread I could find for you.
