Exactly. The source says 6000 years. Since the creation of the WORLD, not just man. Therefore, the ice age and the dinosaurs couldn’t have happened. At least not if you take the source at face value.

This would directly contradict that historical source you seem to refuse to question the veracity of. According to the bible, the age of the WORLD, not just man, is no more than 6000 years old. To me, that suggests that the bible is obviously mythology, not meant to be taken literally. It contains truths or insights, but is not true in the usual non-fiction sense of the word.

The bible nowhere gives the age of the earth. John 1:1 goes back further than Genesis, and it gives no dates whatsoever.

If you were doing science, then when someone pointed out inconsistencies in your theory, or contradictory evidence, you would consider the evidence, provide a reasoned rebuttal, or revisit your theory.
If your response is to insist that you’re right despite the evidence, and complain that you’re being persecuted, you’re doing religion. Especially if you’re insisting on the historical accuracy of a book written 3,000 years ago by a group of pre-technologic goatherds.
