Wasabi Peas

Does eating a serving of Wasabi Peas count as a serving of vegetables? Do I get the same nutritional value from a half cup of them as I would from steamed peas?

Presumably not, since the preparation of wasabi peas typically involves adding oil and flour.

Tha addition of flour, oil and presumably wasabi wouldn’t by itself take away the peas’ nutritional value.

No, but it does mean that you get fewer peas per serving… not to mention more fat and refined carbohydrates.
