If there were any truth to these allegations you’d have a point.
Republicans have no shame whatsoever anymore. As long as they win, they don’t give two shits if a hostile foreign power helped them. And when that happens, they revel in it, and then blame Obama.
It’s beyond pathetic. It’s actively siding with a hostile foreign power for the benefit of their particular political party.
Reagan is turning around at 3300 rpm at the moment.
OK, so we’re getting somewhere. So, if and when the CIA and FBI and other intelligence agencies lay out their case, and their conclusions that the Russians interfered with our elections, and their goal was to elect Trump, then you will change your mind and side with the United States of America and against the Russians on this issue, correct?
Hahahaha. Based on what, exactly? Your feelings? Or is this an example of that fake news I’ve heard so much about?
I understand that your feelings must have been hurt when you, the Democrat collective, and many of the LSM, finally realized that Hillary was not going to be President, or get to pick the next Supreme. On what evidence have you based your prediction of a 2019 recession? A Ouija board? The peckings of a chicken that looks like Hillary?
How can anything be Obama’s fault? It’s not like he’s responsible for anything that happened during his reign, let alone the next one.
Who’s responsible for the failure to hold hearings for the presidents supreme court nomination?
Based on the childish idiocy I see coming from the Trump supporters.
No, YOU’RE THE PUPPET! YOU THE PUPPET!
Bush’s recession was blamed on Obama. Bush’s Iraq war debacle was blamed on Obama. Guantanamo was blamed on Obama. Hell, I even saw a Trump supporting moron on the news who blamed 9/11 on Obama. I’m sure when one or more of Trump’s cabinet choices turns out to be an utter imbecile, and makes a tragic mistake that costs money/lives, it will be blamed on Obama.
It was, and will continue to be absolutely pathetic.
In this thread, I suppose it shoulda/woulda/coulda be blamed on the Russians. Right?
(post shortened)
Bush’s recession? You mean when the Congress-approved, sub-prime mortgage market collapsed? Who would have thought that mandating the loaning of money to people who they knew couldn’t pay it back would come back to bite them in the butt?
Obama was only a member of Congress for a few years, and he mostly voted “present”. Obama must not/never be held responsible for any of his actions. It hurts peoples feelings, dontcha know.
No, try more domestic.
I know there’s quite a few people that read fake news, but do you have a subscription?
Of course everyone who’s panties are all twisted about, surprise surprise, Russia using propaganda, don’t seem to even notice the vastly larger influence of Al Jazeera, which is of course the media arm of the Qatari government. You know, the same Qatar that is ranked 5th out of 167 on the Global Slavery Index. The same Qatar where stoning is a legal punishment and homosexuality and apostasy are punishable by death. The same Qatar that just happened to give Bill C a nice little million dollar bonus inside the birthday card they sent him, which of course the Clintons conveniently forgot to report.
2016: The year that lefty faux moral outrage completely jumped the shark.
The GOP has been trending toward being the Party Of Never, Ever Accepting Personal Responsibility for a while now (as illustrated by your examples).
But with ‘I never admit being mistaken’ Trump as their new standard-bearer, they are taking it to a new high.
(There’s a connection between being capable of accepting responsibility and having self-respect. What we see in the conduct of Trump and those who have chosen to identify with him–on this board as in the halls of Congress–demonstrates that connection remarkably clearly.)
My quick googling seems to indicate that RT likely has a larger audience than Al Jazeera.
This is terrific! Next tell us how Obama is responsible for the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, and how he commands the Mole-men to infiltrate all of the Wall-marts in conjunction with the reverse vampires.
We could leave our moral suasions outside of the question. I’ve little doubt that your moral suasions are quite different from mine, but that’s why horseraces and political parties. You pull on your end of the rope, we pull on ours, and the team that has the most people pulling gets their way. That is the theory at least. I think its a real good theory, I like it! How about you?
If you won’t protect us from political skulduggery, who’s gonna protect you? Play hard, play fair, what does piety have to do with it? Does a total hypocrite have the same political rights as paragons of virtue like you and I? Pharisees get to vote, and so does Phyllis Stein.
Not on social media. Al Jazeera English has more Twitter subscribers than RT, and on Facebook the AJ+ page alone has nearly twice as many likes as RT. They both seem to have more impact via social media than direct broadcast. Though I could be biased on this account, since I am not aware of any one I know watching either network directly, but I see AJ on my social media feeds daily, and RT regularly but to a lesser degree. Regardless, they are both state propaganda outlets of regressive governments who intend to use them to influence our internal politics.
Of course the Russians acted. Just as we do. I’m saying assigning fault to Trump for the actions of Russia is dishonest and propaganda.
This is clearly the Republican’s fault and is despicable.
It’s a fine theory. And in this case pulling on the rope involves gaining traction underfoot by removing the curtain on those who cast themselves as “the progressives”. Once the curtain is gone and all that is left on the left* is a little man pulling on levers and willing to side with people who punish homosexuality and apostasy with death, people swarm the opposite end of the rope for an opportunity to pull against him.
*I don’t believe this at all, but if this is going to be nothing but a race, those who acknowledge the moral nuance and geo-political complexities to the benefit of opponents who refuse the same courtesy is just slicing the achilles of his horse right before the race.
By which you effectively change the subject. The big question is about our election, and the consequences thereof. Did Russian interference affect our election? Dunno, I’m at “maybe” leaning towards “yes”. Was he in on it? Oh, hell no!
So what? The attempt was made. that’s not good. It may have succeeded, to some degree or another, and that’s a whole lot of not good.
Did Il Douche renounce, denounce and condemn? No, what he does is deny. That’s good enough for you? Well, OK, that’s good enough for you.
