Eight minutes in length. Really well done. I would love to see this expanded in a full length feature.
Looked like Life After People for a minute. Very pretty to look at.
Very well done. Apparently a labor of love as the creator spent the last two years of his life putting it together. At that production rate don’t expect to see a full-length movie anytime soon.
Pretty cool.
I also liked the look of it, everything overrun with plant life.
High speed sequences are always crowd-pleasing adrenalin pumpers; one of the reasons I never tire of the Star Wars movies.
One thing that never ceases to bother me, however, and it happens pretty regularly in film, is the constant changing of gears. Every time the camera angle returns to a tight shot, the vehicle in question gears up, as though they are constantly getting ever faster. Luckily, in this short, I noticed the bike gear down a couple times. Sadly, there is no way to know if the throttle is supposed to be the left-hand grip, or some other means besides our standard right-hand grip.
Well at 2 years for 8 minutes, a full length movie is about 20 years away, sort like fusion power.
As a biker myself, I noticed that. I’ve ridden some odd bikes in my life, e.g. Bultaco (right side shifter). but never anything with a left hand throttle butthey do exist. I suppose if you’re fighting baddies in a post-apocalyptic future and you’re right-handed, it would free up your dominant hand for using weapons.
