Watch this short film I made about mental illness (Starring me)

Description:
Did you know there’s a mental illness called “Ornithophobia,” which is a fear of birds. Here’s a short video of me portraying someone with that mental illness.

I put a lot of time and effort going to different locations to film, along with editing to make this creative video.

Let me know your comments, likes, dislikes, or suggestions.

I must admit that, having watched it once, I actually watched it again. So it already has Barbie beaten in my book. Other than it lacking an original Billie Eilish song.

At the risk of encouraging them, I have to admit chrisjourney is starting to become my favorite single-issue SDMB poster.

“…ladies and gentlemen, this man is for the birds!”

I have that phobia! I hadn’t thought of it as a mental illness, per se, and it’s mostly centered on birds in flight or touching me. I’ve slowly desensitized myself, so now I’m fine with birds at a small distance. I still can’t pick one up, though.

The film is fun, if horrifying.

Very nice.

I enjoyed this very much. I had to laugh, though, when the chickens made a guest appearance.

I liked it. Like Cincinnatus, I laughed at the chickens (I have back yard chickens)

You have a face begging to be in ironic film. Go to Hollywood. Now.

Your video was fun

I liked it. How did you get all those birds into one place? I mean every type of bird imaginable.

Spice_Weasel,
