water-cooled heat sinks

I saw some pretty cool heatsinks that are water cooled. I like the idea, but, are they very safe? The designs they have use a radiator which gets positioned above the expansion slots and i’im wondering if this is really such a good idea? But at the same time, I’m also telling myself that the manufacturers of these things would know well enough to take the proper precautions to prevent any condensation from dripping onto any of the components.

So anyone know if going water-cooled (although pricy) would be worthwhile for a few degrees cooler on 2400 MHz cpu?

By the way, this was the one I was looking at, which i found from Pricewatch.com.

Dern it, I have to bump again.

If that is the speed at which the CPU is rated to run, then probably not. You’ll want to upgrade it before it’s lifespan is in any way shortened by heat. Now if you’re overclocking… [Water cooling at Overclockers.com](http://www.overclockers.com/topiclist/index31.asp#WATER COOLING)
