It could be compared to the 1963 incident with the blacks getting sprayed w/H2o. So DO u think he shoud be punished for expessing his freedom of speech rights by dumping water on a war protestor? his free speech might be considered wrong for encroaching on others’ free speech, but then what about those peace protestors who think their free speech rights allow them to blockade cities and freeway against an individuals right to move freely and without restraint, etc. should, those protestors get punished for infinging on others right as well?

Being hit with water from a fire hose is much, much different - it has enough force to knock a grown man off his feet. It’s in another league when compared to simply getting wet.

That being said, free speech isn’t any form of expression that interferes with another persons fundamental freedoms - that includes this man’s “expression” and the “expression” of the peace protestors you mention.

I mean to say that both expressions are not free speech.
