Why did both girls have to wake up at the same time, and then not fall back asleep until I was firmly planted at the computer with a coffee in hand?
For the same reason that flod2k had to wake up at 5:30, and then decided he wanted to go back to bed exactly at the moment when it was time to get breakfast for his big brother: kids are evil.

Cold weather. Jeez, we were just getting used to being not-hot, when all of a sudden Canada sends us this nice sub-zero cold front.
