It is a giant battery suck, but in my car my phone is plugged in and charging
It doesn’t handle long trips well - Minneapolis to Savannah Georgia - it crapped out and couldn’t do the route this summer. We used Google maps and then had Waze in the background not for directions but for traffic. That worked fine.
Earlier tonight my phone was low and I plugged it in to the car. While using Waze the phone used more juice than it was getting. The phone died while it was charging.
