Hi I was just on a website watching a video and it froze, now a bunch of websites don’t work, google doesnt’ work, youtube.com doesn’t work and a few others, what the hell is going on? ran a virus scan it picked up nothing, anyone had this problem before, the internet is working fine other websites work.
Your issues with Youtube and other videos sound like a Flash problem, and I would try reinstalling Flash. Quite a lot of sites use Flash for one thing or another, not just videos. However, Google does not depend on Flash, so I am puzzled by that. In what way is Google “not working”?
Yeah it’s very strange, I just deleted flash but the adobe website won’t work, LOL this is crazy, most websites work but google wont’ work, adobe won’t work, youtube won’t work, google chrome won’t work lol, but sites like facebook and twitter work. It doesn’t say anything it just comes up internet explorer can’t display website, the usual error message you get when a website doesn’t work
You should try cleaning the cache. If you are using google chrome pres ctrl+h then clear browsing data and check all. You could also try using ccleaner.
Could be your DNS server went down, but websites your computer doesn’t have to do a DNS lookup for (because you’ve used them more recently) are still working.
If this is the cause, you can try switching your DNS settings to use Google’s freely-provided DNS servers. Or complain to your ISP about the DNS servers going down.
Rebooting your computer and router may help as well, since they will reload their network configuration and might “find” correct DNS server addresses afterwards.
What’s the text on the IE error page?
It must have been the dns server cause I went to sleep fustrated and when I woke up the next day it was working like nothing happend
