Many people are now agreeing that Trump is not playing with a full deck of cards. Actually no one can believe a word he says. I need not say more.
Anyway he needs to go. Following are some ways that can happen…

If the Republicans cant take care of their own mess, then recalling Republican Senators and Representatives and replacing them with Democrats would do the trick. Most elected Senators and Representatives [Democrat and Republican] are mentally healthy mature people. They may just need a bit of urging from their constituents to take action against Trump. Call or write them!
Then is there a mechanism in place to remove a sitting President from office if he is mentally ill? (If not, we could SURE use such a law really quick!)
Thus far he is doing everything he said he would do on the campaign trail, you know in front of 25,000 person rallys. He sounds just like he did then.
He’s doing and saying what we elected him to do. #MAGA.
The only thing he said during the campaign that wasn’t a lie was “the election is rigged.” He’s a compulsive, pathological liar. I’m not sure if that makes him mentally ill, but it’s a good start.
Do you have a copy of his medical records to support the claim that he is mentally ill? I’m not sure of all the basic qualifications for the job, but I’m going to guess mental illness would be a disqualifier. That said, then, he must have been found mentally competent by a physician. The election is over.
I didn’t vote for Trump, and I believe his administration will do harm to this country, but I have yet to see any evidence that he is actually mentally ill. I don’t want to see an impeachment just for the sake of removing an unpopular President from office, unless he actually does commit some impeachable offense. However, he does seem to be a functioning adult. I doubt a mentally ill person could conduct a successful presidential campaign, much less win his party’s nomination. Remember George McGovern’s first pick for his VP nomination in 1972, Sen. Thomas Eagleton? He had been hospitalized for depression, which was kept a secret, even from McGovern himself. After McGovern consulted with Eagleton’s doctors, he asked Eagleton to withdraw. If Trump actually were mentally ill, it would have come out in the press, and the Republicans wouldn’t have given him their nomination.
The basic qualifications for the job are being a natural-born citizen, and being over 35. And being able to win the election. Being found mentally competent by a physician, or not, is irrelevant, sadly.
And since turnabout is fair play, Obama had to deal with years of accusations of a fake birth certificate. The election was over for a long time, but we had to deal with that shit.
