Right now, there are six threads on the first two pages of GQ pertaining to the switch to digital TV broadcasting that happens in about six months, as well as other HD TV issues.
Might this be a good time to assemble the top questions about HD TV and digital TV and put them up as a sticky in this thread, similar to the ones we have for tech advice and computer questions?
I second this emotion.
Our local TV & Radio columnist has to repeat the spiel almost every day now (you don’t need that converter box if you have ANY form of pay tv, digital != HD, etc…)
We might need one as I’ve seen enough confusion just in the people I work with and some of them don’t know what’s going on. Of course it doesn’t help when the cable people are starting in now saying misleading info.
