We the willing...(or some sh*t)

Does anyone remember how the old saying goes?

We the willing led by the uncapable? doing the imposible, with nothing…

  • I know this isn’t it, which is why it is posted here *

The Cecil comment “damn fool war” popped this into my head.

Something like,

We the unwilling, led by the incompetent, do the impossible for the ungrateful.

THANK YOU CARDINAL!!! (I was able to find it now!)
***“We, the unwilling led by the unknowing are doing the impossible for the ungrateful and have done so much for so long with so little we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.” ***

The word unwilling and willing seem interchangeable. Vietnam era stuff… WHOOO GO WAR ON IRAQ!!!

I used to be a republican…

Here is the version I know:

We the unwilling
Led by the unknowing
Are doing the impossible
For the ungrateful

We have done so much with so little for so long
That now we can do anything with nothing.
