Stunning. Perfectly stunning.
My, but you’re easily stunned.
It’s all the hits Nipples took from Saddam’s intercontinental scud drone aircraft tipped with nuclear anthrax nerve gas. Left him in a bit of a daze.
Oh, the horror! Herds of feral unicorn, running amok, predatory chimeras roaming the neighborhoods, and the jackelopes! Don’t even want to talk about the jackelopes!
I thought the gryphons took care of the jackelopes. :dubious:
Well, then the demons started chasing the vampires, and then it was just one damned thing after another…
Holy Shit! Well, we better go and catch them again, because the Bush administration just let a bunch of TEH ENEMY go!!!
So how do you impeach his credibility? I’m sure you’ll do that instead of giving any creedence to his assertion.
Good thing we aren’t. Otherwise incredibly stupid hyper-credulous fuckers would be believing every piece of shit thing the present administration says for years, despite reams of evidence, and would be calling people who we paid for, detained, and then released TEH ENEMY!
Yes, someone here is horribly naive.
No. I’ve heard you make that statement over and over again for so long now that guffaws are the furthest thing from my response. Usually, it’s more like, “What a stupid blindly partisan asshole.” Without any guffaw. I was once, recently, pleasantly surprised by one of your responses, and moved to post to that effect. But once again, all is in its place in the world.
Didn’t we just have a pile-on last week about the wildly inflammatory garbage the resident conservatives gleefully fling at their opponents?
It depends a bit on the precise nature of the complaint.
Does Sam believe, as he appears to suggest, that no such incident has ever occurred, and they are nothing but utter fabrications meant to slander America, having no basis in fact whatsoever, or…
There is some truth to these allegations, the precise extent of that truth is unknown, but a willingness to believe such allegations reveals an enmity for Freedom and a festering, corrupt disloyalty for The Leader and America.
Given the robust entreprenuerial spirit of the Afghan warlords and thier abiding, worshipful respect for portraits of Ben Franklin, I have to regard these allegations as plausible, but unproven.
If Sam has some incontrovertible evidence to offer that would render such a position untenable, perhaps he will be so kind as to offer it. Failing that, perhaps he will be so kind as to keep his insinuations as to our patriotism to himself.
That would be nice.

as to our patriotism
Bawahahahahaha
*:: Now that was funny ::: *
Not quite clear on the thrust of your remark, Gus. Perhaps you could clarify.

Bawahahahahaha

I do hope you understand my dilemma here, Gus. On the one hand, it is at least possible that you misunderstood my remark, that you think I made the comment in jest.
On the other hand, the most apparent conclusion would be that you intend some snark, a drive by slur that you have neither the wit nor the evidence to substantiate.
If such is the case, you are cordially invited to tongue the brown grease out of my Nixon.
The problem here Sam Stone and others, is that we are having problems proving that these people who were released were the enemy. Sure, they probably are now but we can’t really blame them for that now can we.
Also, Gitmo has been problematic from the gitgo. There hasn’t been much information coming out of there that has been positive. When there is a problem, it’s always denied until the hubub dies a bit.
At the least, these charges deserve an investigation. This sort of crap is not helping us win the war on terror.
