The board goes down for “Scheduled” maintenance during peak hours?

I love this board heart and soul…I am completely addicted to it. Which is why it absolutely blows gibbon balls when it is down for any length of time. Which happens far too often, given the stable nature of VBulletin software.
I think we really do have hamsters and squirrels at this point. Nothing else makes any sense since we won’t get a reasoned explanation from the great admins in the sky.
I know, right? It is pathetic for a board that is ranked 97 out of all boards on the Internet in terms of popularity that has a great staff to be this dysfunctional.

The OP’s thread title “Weak Guys” refers to unspecified certain users who can’t cope with Life, the Universe, and Everything when the board goes down. The admins like to schedule some “unscheduled” downtime now and then to cull the herd.

It cracks me up to realize how hooked I am on that good Dope. When the board goes down, I start looking for that methadone to hold me over. I start visiting websites I haven’t been to in ages. Websites I forgot about. Nothing hits that spot till the dope is back in the veins though.
I found out because I searched a somewhat time sensitive topic on Google and found a result on the SDMB.
I didn’t check the site before clicking so I was surprised to find out that it was the SDMB, and disappointed to see that it was down.
Thankfully it came back in time!
