Well, bravo, Microsoft. I may have to upgrade my XP box.
Now if Apple and the browser makers could get their asses in gear…

This is why I love that the good web browser (aka Firefox) don’t actually fully load all the pages when you come back. A bigger reason to like it is that my computer doesn’t slow down trying open all the 30+ tabs of the modern bloated pages. Offloaded tabs are great, and I’m surprised no other browser seems to be using them.
Particularly Chrome, with their reputation of being really fast. Chrome is outright sluggish if I make it reload previous tabs.
A long time ago you could hit the ESC key and it would stop all animations on the current web page. Maybe that was a Netscape-only thing, but it certainly was a very nice feature.
These days I have no choice but to block annoying flashing ads. If there were a simple way of just stopping them from moving, on demand, I would probably not block them.

You got me all excited and just linked me back to this thread. That’s just cruel.
:eek:HOW did I do that? I think I’ll blame my keyboard…okay I’m going to try again.
This should work
The one I find most annoying is auto-refresh. I’m sure there is an extension for this, but never going back has worked fine so far.
This is what I love about NoScript.
That is quite funny on a touch device, the cursor sparklies just inhabit the upper left hand corner of the screen. No audio, though, I guess it must be flash generated.
