wee sleekit? something about a mouse?

so I have a line from something literary stuck in my head. I think it’s something about a “wee beastie,” and I think there’s a “sleekit” or something like that in there, along with the words “tim’rous” (spelled like that? can’t remember!" and “cowering.” what is this from? it’s all one line, I think…
