Those following the continuing train wreck of my health know about pain control.
I am in CA (the one thing I got right) where even recreational weed is now legal.
Can I ask for recommendations of strains/forms members have found useful for pain?
I am no longer allowed any more than a patch - which is great for a 6"x6" spot - but if you have more than one bad joint, too bad.
May I recommend that you talk to the medical marijuana centers? The ones that are actually in it for helping those in need are quite knowledgeable and will be able to make specific recommendations. Start with those that were in business as medical MJ distribution centers before the recent law changes.
Look for a CBD strain with a solid amount of CBD (at least 8%) and 5-8% THC. The CBD is the pain medicine and the THC helps it work. The strains to get you baked run 11-26% THC.
Be careful, some strains advertised as CBD may contain almost no CBD. The good shops will have test numbers on their batch and won’t mind sharing that with you.
Indica types will tend to make you sleepy or less active. Sativa types support more activity.
