DO NOT READ THIS THREAD BEFORE YOU POST YOUR ANSWERS
Object of the game: Try to think of the most popular answer, to get the most people matching you. Google is allowed, if you desire. Only answers that are “serious” will be scored. Joke answers will not be considered, as it is not fair to other players.
Scoring - Any answer duplicated by anyone else is worth 100 points divided by the number of entrants. For example: 50 entrant game = 2 pts per answer. If 4 people match that means they each get 8 pts for that answer. No matches = 0 points.
If any of you have ideas for Feuds -and would like me to score them- PM me and I’ll get you on The List.
FORMATTING OF ANSWERS IS IMPORTANT!
Write your answers like this; Do not repeat the questions, no periods at the end of answers, no spaces between lines, no comments, no fancy list coding. If you need to comment or clarify your answers, do it AFTER the list of answers. Thanks.
JUST LIKE THIS:
1. answer <<—There is a space after the period!
2. response
3. rejoinder
The game will end either when we have 50 entrants, or at 4:00 PM Central on Sunday, 11/16/08 whichever comes first.
I don’t know much about westerns, and felt that votes for spaghetti westerns would be split among several titles. So it was this or Young Guns, about as far as my western knowledge goes.
Wasn’t sure if the “National Lampoon’s” portion was needed.
Was this meant to be fictional duos (like Jay and Silent Bob)? Oh well.
Specifically “Episode IV: A New Hope,” but I think most people will just answer generically “Star Wars.”
I was thinking I had picked a bunch of no-pointers. Then I saw that Student Driver had picked seven of the same movies. I may do better than I expected.
I can easily understand why nos. 9 and 10 are in everyone’s list, but I think it’s hilarious that “Shaft” is sweeping the blaxploitation category. (I own Blacula, Blackenstein, Sweet Sweetback’s Baadassss Song, and The Watermelon Man. I don’t own Shaft. Yet, Shaft is the one that popped into my head first.)
Love Story is awfully popular for question 5-- I know my answer was thanks to the wording of the question, as I’d have probably answered something else if it had just said “romance movie.” Anyone else think “Love Story!” because of the question’s wording?
