I even lost to Worm .How is that possible.? A guy from London was last so that indicates something was wrong. It can not be me. illuminati is wandering London looking for a WW2 bomb shelter. This will pull my average down.
Obviously three visits to Britain, one of them for four months, was insufficient. Back I go!
Thanks for a fun Feud. Cheerio!
I suddenly realized that I have to put myself in an American frame of mind. I’m aware ofthe bad teeth meme, but being Swedish, it never struck me as even remotely true (apart from Shane McGowan), but it seems to be really ingrained in Americans. As for Guy Fawkes - might this be a Doper thing, connected to V for Vendetta?
Gulp
Oh, man, so close to a perfect score…if only I’d chosen Tony Blair over the Iron Lady, which I did consider.
Never saw/read it, know nothing about it. I just think of the “Remember, remember the fifth of November” rhyme (which I first heard quoted in John Lennon’s “Remember”). I did have a little trouble with the word “festival” in that question. Before I decided it meant holiday, I almost answered Glastonbury.
Well, look at it like this. This being a mostly American board, the most popular answers will reflect what Americans think of Britain, not what the British think of themselves.
You just stick to your americanisms, and I’ll handle the rest of the world
Hmmm, guess I can take some solace in that.
Looks in the mirror to admire his very straight, white teeth
nemmind. But I would have had seven direct hits…
It is a crime that Tony Blair got that much mention over most of the others, plus a couple that didn’t appear at all. I bet in 20-30 years he wouldn’t make that list at all.
I didn’t pick him because he’s not currently a politician - big mistake on my part!
Bugger, and missed the edit too!
Mmmm, nice. Did you buy American dentures?

Nope, all natural. Check em out!
Too late to play, obviously–but I will leave an observation.
It’s interesting to see that “British” = “English” in these answers. No Edinburgh Fringe, no Giant’s Causeway, no Cardiff City FC.
