Weight reduction

Is Herballife safe as a weight reduction tool?

Yes, it will make your wallet noticebly slimmer.

A better program is to eat less and exercise more!
Eat a good breakfast, mid-morning snack, a decent noon meal, a mid afternoon snack, and a decent dinner/supper. Total food intake should be a bit less than you have been accustomed to.

To elaborate a little, Herbalife International is a multi-level-marketer that sells a meal-replacement nutritional supplement. Herbalife itself is most likely nothing special, but I don’t know what’s in it, and I doubt that many people do. It probably isn’t particularly better than anything sold over-the-counter at nutrition stores, or it would’ve caught the eye of medical science and made some scientific journals. To my knowledge, this has never happened.

Herbalife International is responsible for a large % of the roadside flyers that say “Lose 30lbs in 30 days” or “Work from home and earn $3000-$5000” or such. I guess the intent is that you lose the weight by walking door to door and reselling the supplement(that’s how it’s marketed) rather than consume it

Since the product is of dubious effectiveness, Herbalife International is on that thin line between MLM and an abusive ponzi scheme. Yes, you can lose a lot of weight, and you can make a lot of money. No, it most likely won’t happen, and there’s definitely better use for the time and money that is going to be spent on this(say a gym membership, or buying healthier food like lean meats and vegetables instead of sugary cereals and processed cheese products).

This is bordering on IMHO.
