Weight vs Activity

I know that we’ve had several related threads over the years, but I just saw an article about this issue.

Rather surprisingly, the article notes that more research is needed. (Instead of merely assuming that the latest study is the final word for all time.)

This does reinforce the idea I’ve read in a few places, that any level of activity is better than none at all. Too many people are still stuck in a black-and-white mode of thinking, where exercise is no good unless you’re doing a vigorous hour every day.

But do people care more about being healthy, or about being hot?

I have encountered that mindset - but it’s been pretty rare. Where do you find all sorts of people who think like that?
