Did you know Dr. Demento had a cameo appearance in Al’s movie UHF? He was credited as “Whipped Cream Eating Man” As a member of the audience in Stanley Spudowski’s Clubhouse Stanley squirted whipped cream from a can into the Dr’s mouth.
Oh, I forgot, I’ll touch you tracer, if you are male. I’d like to have a connection to Al like that.

Darn it, this is one of those times where I wish that the SDMB had an optional field for “gender” in the User Profiles. Ya can’t tell what sex somebody is with a name like “tracer” or “Baker.”

I know a lady who claimed to have gone with Weird Al to the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Years ago, must have been the early 80’s, I saw Weird Al on TV and he sung this song I haven’t heard since, so it must have been an original. Can any one identify it? The song has him leaving a woman, and he lists off all these disgusting things he’d endure “rather then spend, one more moment with you”. The quoted part is a direct qoute I think.

Dr. Demento’s got cameos in several of Al’s music videos. Off the top of my head, he operated the cash register in I Love Rocky Road, and was one of the attendees for Headline News.
As long as we’re generally genuflecting about Al here, am I the only Al-caholic who likes his glasses-wearing, moustached, pre-LASIK Look to his current style? The original “Al look” was properly dorky, IMO, while the current style looks like a pop-rocker-wanna-be who just happens to be wearing a Hawaiian shirt…?
And I’ve only attended one Al concert in my life. Pity me.
