I mostly agree with you. And where I agree isn’t truly relevant for this discussion. I still think “We should boycott DDG because their algorithm doesn’t rank thinks as well, according to my priorities, as Google’s” is a bad bandwagon to get on.
That’s not called a boycott, that’s called making a choice as a consumer.

Yes, that was an unfortunate choice of phrase. This thread is just not my friend I guess. My point was that I still think the thread title is an overreaction to the situation as presented in the OP.
